With a legacy rooted in decades of expertise and a deep connection to the Southern California arts community, our appraisal services are led by Karen Raab, a certified member of International Fine Art Appraisers (IFAA).

 With over 30 years of experience in the field, Karen began her training under the guidance of her mother, Rita Chemers, a certified appraiser and respected figure in the Orange County arts scene since 1978. Together, they have cultivated a reputation for thoughtful, accurate, and knowledgeable appraisals, specializing in 20th and 21st century fine art. 

Karen’s combined experience spans not only valuation but also curatorial work, including jurying and organizing fine art exhibitions. This hands-on involvement with artists, collectors, and institutions brings depth and insight to every appraisal.
