A Unique Exhibition of Figurative Artists & Artisans
Now in our 17th year of hosting a juried exhibition at Chemers Gallery, we bring you our first ever figurative juried exhibition, Figure This. This show embodies the human form in all styles across a variety of media. You can expect the unexpected at this year’s juried exhibition. With works in oil, watercolor, pastel, acrylic, photography, ceramics, fiber, mixed media and more… the creativity of Southern California artists will astound you.
Mark your calendars for the opening of the exhibition for Saturday, April 26th, 11am – 4pm which continues with our Artist Reception & Awards Ceremony 5:30pm-8:00pm (awards typically announced at 7pm). We hope to see you here! Show continues through May 10th.
Don’t forget on the final day of the show, Saturday May 10th artists from the exhibition will be giving live demonstrations, offering a behind-the-scenes look at their creative process. Stay tuned for details on participating artists! We are honored to have award-winning fine artist & comic book illustrator Brian Haberlin as this year’s juror! In addition to selecting the exhibitions lineup, Brian will also be signing copies of his books on the last day of the exhibit- stay tuned for details! As always, we are proud to be partnering with the Tustin Area Council for Fine Arts (TACFA) to bring you this event. Founded in 1992, TACFA funds & administers programs which expand the arts in the greater Tustin Area and enrich our entire community.
